Light Portal is an interactive art installation that puts you in control of a super psychedelic, hyper-kaleidoscope machine! Custom software creates intricate symmetries at the touch of your fingers, revealing a hidden world of exquisite beauty. Dance in front of the light to reveal your multicoloured light body and cast silhouettes on the screen, or bend the screen to warp spacetime iteself, and enter a new dimension of fun and colour.
The Light Portal is a bespoke, custom made interactive art piece created by the artist Patrick O'Neill, aka Tricktronix. The software has been iterated on for over a decade, taking the classic kaleidoscope concept and reimagining it into a stunning futuristic digital art piece.
